Instead of testing the final product, the bluesign® standard analyzes all input streams on environmental and social criteria. The standard acts across the entire textile manufacturing chain from raw materials to chemical components, to resources. Products processed in at least 90% Bluesign-factories get the "bluesign product" seal whereas chemicals receive "bluesign approved".
